Levin backs “biggest donor” when asked about local school board issue
Mike Levin praised the American Federation of Teachers when asked during a Saturday town hall about a local teachers’ union working to remove Ty Humes, a member of a local school board, because of his critical comments on teachers’ unions influencing school reopenings.
The Orange County Register previously reported that the American Federation of Teachers is one of Levin’s biggest donors.
Humes was upset that parents weren’t given the opportunity to provide more input on school reopenings, saying, “…it was completely the opposite – with stealth-room deals between the unions and the school districts.”
