Gonzalez must act on Omar

Last night, House Democrats issued a statement calling on notorious anti-Semite Ilhan Omar to “clarify” her comments equating the United States and Israel with Hamas terrorists and the Taliban.

Unfortunately for Democrats, a weak statement calling for clarification isn’t the standard they set.

Vicente Gonzalez sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee and says he’s “proud to represent a vibrant Jewish community in the #TX15 & will continue to fight against racism, intolerance and bigotry.”

But Gonzalez hasn’t said a word about Omar’s latest comments.

Why won’t Gonzalez “fight against racism, intolerance and bigotry,” and demand Omar’s removal from this committee?
