Atlanta homicides and shootings soar

The AJC is reporting Atlanta’s murders are up, and shootings have increased by 40%.

Atlanta’s police force remains more than 400 officers under its authorized level. More than 200 police officers quit the force in 2020 and another 75 left this year.

This comes as Democrats in Congress as still calling to defund or even abolish the police.

Yet, Atlanta Congresswomen Carolyn Bourdeaux and Lucy McBath refuse to condemn their party’s Defund the Police platform that is putting Georgia residents at risk.
