VA murders increase, Dems pro-crime agenda unpopular

Axios reports “Democrats, in private and public, are warning that rising crime — and the old and new progressive calls to defund the police — represent the single biggest threat to their electoral chances in 2022.”

In Virginia, homicides have increased nearly 25% and in Hampton Roads murders increased by 18% in 2020.

But if Democrats are so afraid of being labeled weak on crime, why do they continue supporting efforts to defund and even abolish the police?

And why hasn’t Elaine Luria stood up against their party’s platform to Defund the Police?
