Seattle Preschool sounds alarm on violent crime: “We’ve been crying for help”

June 24, 2021

A local preschool is sounding the alarm on the rise in shootings and violent crime in Seattle.

The Center Director Gloria Hodge said, “Some did hear the gunshots. It was during nap time but we don’t quite think they understood what it was… We’ve been crying for help.”

Seattle saw its highest homicide number in 26 years in 2020, yet Democrats cut 20% from Seattle Police’s budget.
