Education Secretary Miguel Cardona participated in a hearing before the House education committee this week, where the controversial ideology popular among progressives was a hot topic.

Many members of the committee criticized Cardona’s department for promoting the concept, but Hayes defended him, citing her experience as a teacher and saying, “There are some things in our history that we just have to face head on.”
