Dem infighting could get expen$ive
We all know the NRCC outraised the DCCC by millions in Q2, but that’s not where the bad financial news ends for Democrats.
The Washington Post reports “smoldering tensions between far-left activists and Washington’s Democratic House leaders are flaring again ahead of the midterm elections, prompting Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and others to raise money to defend incumbents against primary challengers in congressional races.”
And National Journal reports that Jim Cooper, whose district could get significantly worse, may lose a primary to far-left wannabe Squad member Odessa Kelly.
NRCC Comment: “House Democrats’ full-fledged embrace of socialism has not been enough to scare off radical primary challengers. Now they will need to spend millions trying to convince their base that they are liberal enough to remain in office.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg
