SPM defends CRT

Sean Patrick Maloney dismissed a constituent’s concerns about Critical Race Theory being taught in schools and had no answers for Democrats’ support for the controversial concept at a town hall, the New York Post reports.

A constituent who asked for Maloney’s stance on CRT was first met with condescension before Maloney denied it is being taught in local schools (false) and later defended CRT by attempting to downplay the ideology (without mentioning that it teaches young children that “whiteness” is the devil).
