Vicente Gonzalez claims to be pro-life, votes for taxpayer-funded abortions

Vicente Gonzalez claims to be pro-life, but he wants taxpayers to foot the bill for abortions.

Gonzalez previously told The Hill, “I’m Catholic and as a Catholic I’m not for abortion, but I also believe that there’s a separation between church and state and even though those are my religious values, I have to respect others who maybe differ from that,”

But yesterday, Gonzalez voted for a $600 billion partisan spending bill which eliminates the Hyde Amendment, a measure that prohibits taxpayer-funded abortion.
