Vicente Gonzalez continues to play politics at the border

August 6, 2021

Vicente Gonzalez is trying to save his political career by bashing the Biden Administration’s (in)actions at the border.

The city of McAllen, Texas has had to build emergency shelters to deal with over 7,000 COVID-positive migrants that have been released into the community since February.

But Gonzalez has been praising the Administration for their “very good plan” and “holistic approach” to solve the #BidenBorderCrisis, touting in April that the “border problem” would be solved in the next few months.

NRCC Comment: “Vicente Gonzalez has been downplaying the crisis at the border for months, playing partisan politics while endangering the health and safety of his constituents. He will lose his seat in 2022.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
