FiveThirtyEight did a deep dive on what mounting retirements mean for House Democrats and it’s NOT GOOD for Nancy Pelosi and company.

“Bottom line: At this point, the departure of members like Kind and Lamb makes it harder for Democrats to hold on to potentially competitive House seats, and the overall picture has worsened for Democrats as more of their vulnerable members exit the House.”

From the outset of this cycle the NRCC has been pressuring Democrats to quit now and save themselves the embarrassment of losing next fall. So far eight House Democrats have called it quits with more to come!
