Gottheimer’s power play gone wrong

Nancy Pelosi promised vulnerable Democrats a vote on infrastructure nine days ago, but she broke her promise and rolled them.

Negotiating to set a vote for the bill was previously lauded as a “power play” and just last week Josh Gottheimer told CNN he was “1000%” sure infrastructure was going to pass.

But what will Gottheimer do now that he got rolled by Pelosi and went back to New Jersey embarrassed and empty-handed?
