Inflation is coming for your Mac & Cheese

November 4, 2021

Inflation is coming for your favorite comfort foods.

Kraft is raising its prices by “5% on 80% of its products to help offset the escalating inflation that the entire industry is facing,” according to CNN.

And Mondelez, which makes Oreos and other cookies and candy, says “we’ve been increasing prices, and we plan to increase prices more than we’ve done … probably for quite a while as a company.”

That means Americans can expect to pay more for delicious staples like:

  • Mac & Cheese
  • Jell-O
  • Bagel Bites
  • Cool Whip
  • Toblerone
  • Sour Patch Kids
  • Oreos

NRCC COMMENT: “Joe Biden promised he’d build back better, but instead the prices of American comfort foods like mac & cheese are increasing because of Democrats’ spending sprees.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
