Bohannan promoted radical bail fund

Iowa Democrat Christina Bohannan penned a letter encouraging the University of Iowa community to donate to one nonprofit that bails out violent criminals and another that aims to “dismantle, defund, and abolish the police,” the Washington Free Beacon reports.  

One of the groups Bohannan promoted, the Minnesota Freedom Fund, freed numerous heinous criminals, including an alleged child rapist and an accused domestic abuser who was arrested for murder just weeks after his release. 

Bohannan previously told the Quad-City Times that she accidentally donated to a separate group that supports defunding the police in support of a friend’s birthday.
