Politico/Morning Consult poll: More bad news for House Dems

A new poll from Politico and Morning Consult has more bad news for House Democrats.

Republicans lead on the generic ballot and hold significant leads on the issues most important to voters:

• Republicans in Congress hold a double-digit lead on the economy (47%-34%).
• Republicans in Congress hold a double-digit lead on jobs (45%-35%).
• Republicans in Congress hold a double-digit lead on national security (49%-32%).
• Republicans in Congress lead on immigration (45%-37%).
