Brooklyn residents unhappy with Democrats’ partisan gerrymander

Sean Patrick Maloney’s aggressive partisan gerrymandering plan for New York said that “districts must preserve the ability of minority communities to elect their chosen representatives to Congress.”

But a letter from Brooklyn elected officials claims that the map that adds them to NY-11 now separates “the strong coalition between Asian American and Pacific Islander and Latino communities” in their former district.

No wonder Sean Patrick Maloney had a meltdown on Meet the Press yesterday when pressed about his gerrymandering hypocrisy.
