Dem Strategist: GOP being “smart” about South Texas

The Washington Post reports a “permanent realignment” favoring the GOP is occurring in South Texas.

While Democrats continue to be the Party of defunding the police, open borders, rising prices, and killing oil and gas jobs, Republicans have recruited great candidates and are making inroads with voters who Democrats abandoned.

One Democrat strategist in Texas told The Post: “At the end of the day, I just think that people have choices now. I think Republicans are going to just keep pressing.”
