Wildly out of touch
February 28, 2022
Susan Wild said in December that “rumors of this economic demise are greatly exaggerated” and that the U.S. was “in really good shape going in to 2022.”
And in January, Wild insisted that Democrats’ socialist stimulus bill put “money in pockets.”
But a new ABC/Washington Post poll shows that Wild’s attempts to dismiss concerns about the economy aren’t working: six in 10 Americans report inflation hardships and 75 percent say the economy is in bad shape.
NRCC Comment: “It doesn’t get more out of touch than swamp creature Susan Wild saying the economy is doing fine as average Americans sound the alarms about their financial struggles.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
