JOINT ECONOMIC COMMITTEE REPORT: High inflation a staple of life in MN today

“High inflation is a staple of life in the United States today,” according to a new study from the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee. 

In the West North Central Region:   

• Inflation is costing $396 monthly per household
• Housing is up 4%
• Food is up 7%
• Energy is up 27%
• Transportation is up 24%
