Salas didn’t vote on gas tax suspension

Gas prices in California are the highest in the country, but during a vote today on whether the California State Assembly should suspend the gas tax, Rudy Salas…didn’t vote.

And it’s not the first time.

There was a vote in 2019 to delay a gas tax increase and Salas didn’t vote on that bill either! 

And just last month when the assembly voted whether to end California’s COVID state of emergency, Salas also passed on voting.
