PA business blames Dems for surging gas prices

American small businesses are experiencing “a rapidly deteriorating situation” thanks to the pandemic, inflation, and now high gas prices – and one Pennsylvania company is blaming Joe Biden and the Democrats’ “shortsighted” energy policy.

Ed Burns, vice president of relationships for Burns Logistics in Shoemakersville, said:

“Gas price increases, and particularly diesel fuel costs, are going to hit the average American HARD as the cost of fuel in trucking is typically a pass-through cost to the customer…[T]rucking is the backbone of our economy, and our government’s energy policy is taking a baseball bat and smacking it into that backbone.”
