Dems worried about MI-10 recruits
Politico reports that Democrats are mad at Andy Levin for abandoning the newly drawn MI-10 to run in a blue district and “are worried about their bench in that 10th District seat, even with five candidates now running.”
Why?
Because the current Democrat frontrunner, Carl Marlinga, is best known for being indicted “on charges he helped a convicted rapist win a new trial in exchange for contributions to his 2002 run for Congress.”
Levin’s pollster, David Mermin, also threw cold water on Democrats’ chances of holding the new 10th, saying it “just doesn’t look promising.”
