California is STILL #1 for gas prices, as CA Dems propose new tax

April 5, 2022

According to AAA, California is still home to the highest gas prices in the country at an average of $5.83 a gallon.

Experts told The Hill: “The state’s soaring gas prices are likely a result of high taxes and California’s reliance on in-state fuel lines or fuel shipments by boat or truck rather than inter-state pipelines.”

But California Democrats haven’t learned their lesson. They continue to vote against suspending the state’s gas tax, and instead are proposing a NEW TAX on gas suppliers..
