Max Rose’s New York Vol. 10

April 25, 2022

A new Siena College poll reveals New Yorkers’ top concern is crime, and 67% of respondents back changes to New York’s cashless bail law.

That’s on the heels of NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ appearance on “60 Minutes” this weekend, where he said the pendulum has swung too far “to the left” on policing.

Notably, that prompted Anderson Cooper to ask Adams “how his tough-on-crime focus might make liberals question whether the mayor…is a true member of the Democratic Party” (valid question).

NRCC Comment: “With his support for cashless bail and defunding the police, no one will ever accuse anti-cop Max Rose of being tough on crime.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
