Delgado tries to hide anti-law enforcement record
April 27, 2022
Antonio Delgado’s politically expedient election year epiphany continues as Breitbart reports the progressive Democrat is seeking to erase his anti-law enforcement record.
Delgado’s record includes:
- Pocketing $5,000 from AOC’s PAC that requires all candidates seeking the endorsement to promise that they would “reduce the annual budget for law enforcement.”
- Voting for an anti-law enforcement bill backed by Pelosi
- Receiving thousands of dollars from groups who want to defund the police and reward criminals.
But despite recent history showing otherwise, Delgado spent last week attempting cleanup where he said “stripping” police funding “is not the answer.”
NRCC Comment: “Antonio Delgado will not be able to convince New Yorkers that their eyes are deceiving them. With Democrats like Delgado in charge, criminals are rewarded, police are penalized, and innocent New Yorkers are more concerned about crime than ever.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
