Democrats can’t rely on their own candidates to win

The Washington Times reports that Marc Elias’ law firm is muscling into GOP House primaries “in races in which Democrats have struggled to recruit top-tier talent or face other obstacles.”
The firm “has filed legal challenges to a cadre of GOP congressional candidates in recent weeks,” including in PA-01, where Democrats’ recruit against Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is “unknown and a lackluster fundraiser.”
They also tried – and failed – to get involved in PA-12, where infighting in the Democrat primary has posed a threat to a relatively blue seat.
