Economy, gas prices worrying Mainers

Gas prices have reached a new record-high of $4.37 a gallon. In Maine, prices surged past the old record set in March.

Meanwhile, the Spring 2022 Critical Insights on Maine public poll found: “Financial issues are now, by far, the most prominent concerns for Mainers overall” as 41 percent of respondents cited the economy, affordable housing, gas prices, inflation, and cost of living concerns as top of mind.
