Max Rose’s New York Vol. 13

New York City auto thefts have soared 61% so far this year with nearly 4,500 reported incidents already.

Staten Island alone has seen a 103% increase over the same period last year.

The NYPD has blamed Democrats’ disastrous bail reform in part for the spike, but State Attorney General Letitia James – a progressive politician who Max Rose loves to praise – said last week that “spikes in crime” don’t warrant changes to New York’s controversial bail law.
