Will Sean Patrick Maloney step down as DCCC Chair?
The preliminary New York Congressional map was released today and DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney is abandoning his district to primary progressive Rep. Mondaire Jones in New York’s 17th Congressional District.
Maloney is already trying to mark his territory, which will only exacerbate the already-frayed ties between the DCCC and the Squad.
This also begs the question: will Maloney step down as DCCC Chair now that he may be involved in a member-on-member primary with Jones?
