NY-19 will turn red in August

Antonio Delgado will be sworn in as Lieutenant Governor tomorrow, triggering a special election in NY-19 on the same day as the state’s August 23 primaries.
The special election pits Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro against Democrat Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan – but Ryan is running for NY-18 in November.
