Gas prices are high; Titus wants them higher

June 7, 2022

Nevada’s gas prices are now the second highest in the country, hitting an average of $5.49 a gallon yesterday.

But if Titus had her way, gas prices would be even higher.

Not only did Titus vote for a gas tax in the Nevada State Legislature, she’s a cosponsor of a carbon tax bill, which would raise gas prices by as much as 90 cents per gallon by 2030, according to a Columbia University report.
