Will Mrvan back bill to protect SCOTUS?

June 9, 2022

Yesterday a man armed with a gun, a knife, and burglary tools was arrested near the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the early morning.

The Senate recently passed the bipartisan “Supreme Court Police Parity Act of 2022” by unanimous consent. The bill would allow the Supreme Court of the United States Police to provide the families of Supreme Court Justices with around-the-clock security protection

But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has “no plans” to bring the bill to the floor, and Frank Mrvan has been silent on the issue.
