Kellyanne Conway rips Gottheimer and Malinowski over SCOTUS security vote
Josh Gottheimer and Tom Malinowski were among just 27 Democrats to vote against the SCOTUS security bill yesterday, citing a partisan tit-for-tat to cast a vote that puts Justices’ lives at risk.
Kellyanne Conway laid into Gottheimer and Malinowski about their “disgusting votes” today on Outnumbered:
“Security for our Supreme Court justices should not be controversial. It should not be partisan. It should be unanimous. I want these people voted out… There are some in tough districts, like Tom Malinowski is in the fight of his political life against Tom Kean, Jr. in New Jersey. My congressman, Josh Gottheimer – disgrace. He calls himself, ‘I’m the leader of the bipartisan Problem Solvers caucus.’ How about solving the problem of Brett Kavanaugh’s life being threatened by a would-be assassin in the last week or two?”
NRCC Comment: “At the end of the day, New Jersey voters will view Josh Gottheimer and Tom Malinowsi’s votes against SCOTUS security as the gross partisan display it was, regardless of their excuse.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
