WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the IL-06 primary election:

“Congratulations to Keith Pekau on his primary victory. As a small businessman, veteran, and mayor, Keith has a strong record of serving Illinoisans and our country. This stands in stark contrast to radical Sean Casten, who blindly supported Democrats’ failed policies that caused skyrocketing prices and soaring violent crime. Illinois voters will reject Casten and send Keith to Washington.”
