O’Halleran on the economy: “Wars create this environment”

Yesterday, when asked about a potential recession by NBC’s Kristen Welker, Tom O’Halleran refused to take responsibility for the economic downturn. 

O’Halleran said: “There are other factors across this country and across the world that are having profound impacts. Not the least is the Ukraine war, supply chain issues out of China, their lowering economy also. European community struggling with the energy issues, as we are. You know, wars create these environments.”

What O’Halleran failed to mention was Democrats reckless spending, which economists agree “worsened inflation” 

From Vox: “We put gasoline on the fire. That’s basically what ARP (the American Rescue Plan) did.”
