Do Stansbury and Leger Fernández believe the U.S. is in a recession?

AP reports the “US economy shrank at a 0.9% rate from April through June,” the second straight quarterly contraction.
This means we are officially in a recession, but the White House won’t admit it.
Will Melanie Stansbury and Teresa Leger Fernández admit we’re in a recession? Or will they take New Mexicans for fools, like the White House is doing?
