National Journal: Becker favored to flip NV-03

According to National Journal’s new power rankings, NV-03 is ranked as one of the districts most likely to flip in the entire country.

Even though Lee’s swing seat became slightly safer for her after redistricting, she still represents the most competitive district in the Silver State. House Democrats’ super PAC, House Majority PAC, has spent more on TV ad reservations in Las Vegas than any other media market this cycle, signaling Democrats’ concerns about holding this district. Nevada was particularly hard hit by the pandemic and its ensuing economic fallout, and Republican nominee April Becker has been laser-focused on rising prices. But since the Dobbs ruling, Lee has made abortion rights central to her reelection campaign—a message that Democrats believe will be particularly effective in the state.
