GOP set to flip two Long Island seats
Republicans are set to flip two Democrat-held House seats on Long Island this fall, the New York Post reports.
Thanks to Tom Suozzi and Kathleen Rice’s retirements amid a toxic midterm cycle for Democrats, NY-03 and NY-04 are ripe for GOP pickup.
Republicans have coalesced around George Santos in NY-03 and Anthony D’Esposito in NY-04 – and while Democrats still have to fight through brutal primaries, Santos and D’Esposito are already running against Democrats’ failed agenda of rising crime, cashless bail, and reckless spending.
