Titus’ American Rescue Plan deja vu

Rep. Dina Titus thinks Democrats’ so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” will help the American people and be the boost she needs to win reelection, but we’ve heard that before. 

Titus told the New York Times, “It shows that we can get things done and I think it starts to turn around some of the talk about Biden…”

But…Titus was also optimistic about the “American Rescue Plan,” when Democrats passed it in 2021.

She told the Las Vegas Review Journal: “[The American Rescue Plan] would benefit over 44,000 households, putting more money in the pockets of hardworking parents to afford quality child care, put gas in the car to get to work, or meet the cost of groceries so they can keep food on the table.”

Instead, the American Rescue Plan led to record inflation, causing Nevadans to pay some of the highest gas and grocery prices in the country.
