Axne 2022: We need more IRS auditors

Cindy Axne embraced the fact that she voted for a massive IRS expansion yesterday, saying, “we’re investing in the IRS…We don’t have enough IRS auditors…”

And while Axne repeated a false talking point that her IRS army would not harass the middle class, the Wall Street Journal says “[a] quick analysis from the budget scorer confirms that the audit expansion will ensnare the middle class.”
