Ulster County misplaced $1 million during the height of COVID while Pat Ryan served as County Executive.

A lawsuit filed by a former employee alleges that county officials sent the money to the state by mistake and never got the money back, all while the employees involved were allegedly participating in a “dysfunctional work environment.”

The Daily Freeman notes “[a] Ryan spokesperson declined to say if he knew of the specifics in the lawsuit.”
