Magaziner wants “a quick transition” to the Green New Deal
Seth Magaziner told the Providence Journal he supports the Green New Deal and “a quick transition to 100% clean energy.”
Magaziner – who opposes fracking and domestic oil production – wants to hastily implement an expensive green energy agenda, but Rhode Island lacks the infrastructure for such a drastic change, a cost that would surely get handed to consumers.
This costly endeavor comes as Democrats’ anti-energy agenda is astronomically driving up Rhode Islanders’ energy costs.
NRCC Comment: “Seth Magaziner’s out-of-touch green energy agenda would be a huge burden to Rhode Islanders as they’re already paying through the roof for gas and home heating costs thanks to Democrats’ anti-energy policies.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
