Mathis refuses to comment on controversial gender identity policy

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports Liz Mathis “was unavailable for comment” on the Linn-Mar Community School District’s controversial policy that allows children to “make fundamentally important decisions about gender identity without parental involvement and hide those decisions from their parents.”

Does Liz Mathis think young children should be able to change their gender without consulting their parents?
