Kirsten Engel would make border crisis worse

Kirsten Engel claims we need to secure the border with “more manpower, with technology, with better security” because “we have drug smuggling, we have human trafficking.” 

Engel says this is a “problem,” but what did she do about it?

Engel “opposed greater funding for more vigorous border enforcement” which provided “millions of dollars for the state’s Border Strike Force, a highly trained group of state troopers who have helped fight criminal activity in Arizona communities.”

Engel also opposed “a resolution that would have recognized and thanked the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol while proclaiming that ICE’s work is ‘critical to enforcing immigration law.’”
