Kaptur’s reckless spending spree sent stimulus checks to death row inmates

The Washington Free Beacon reports inmates, including those serving life sentences, received more than $1 billion in stimulus checks.  

Republican lawmakers warned Democrats this would happen as the American Rescue Plan was debated, but Democrats like Marcy Kaptur voted for it anyway.
