Texas Tribune: Along the Texas-Mexico border, GOP enthusiasm mounts

The Texas Tribune reports, “Among voters near the Texas-Mexico border, immigration and border security are a leading cause for flipping from Democrat to Republican.”

A former South Texas Democrat told the Tribune: “Seeing the lack of support from the federal government has really impacted the community and they’re looking and leaning towards the Republican Party.”
