Cashless bail needs the ax

A madman wielding an ax terrorized a Lower East Side McDonald’s this weekend and was already freed without bail.

The crazed attacker faces charges for fourth-degree criminal-mischief and possession-of-weapons charges, neither of which is eligible for bail thanks to Democrats’ failed and far-too-lenient bail reform laws.

It’s safe to say Democrats like Sean Patrick Maloney and Max Rose were not thinking of law-abiding New Yorkers’ safety when they made ending cashless bail “a top priority.”
