Golden accepted campaign cash from Seafood Watch executive attempting to shut down Maine lobster

Everyone knows Jared Golden is no friend to Maine lobster – including Seafood Watch Executive Julie Packard.

Packard – whose group has warned consumers to avoid Maine lobster to protect the right whale – is a Golden campaign donor.

Packard clearly realizes the issue is also near and dear to Golden’s heart, given he’s voted multiple times to strengthen the regulatory agency cracking down on lobstermen to protect the right whale.
