New York Post calls out Max Rose’s election-year pandering
Max Rose is about to lose an election, so he’s pretending he’s not soft on crime, the New York Post reports.
Rose’s recent attempts to distance himself from his support for defunding the police and cashless bail – which have been mocked by local police – aren’t too convincing in an election year.
It’s clear the shift comes as voters “prefer Republican policies on crime by a whopping 22%,” according to the latest ABC/WaPo poll.
