Pappas & Kuster scrubbed criminal justice provisions from their websites
Chris Pappas and Annie Kuster have scrubbed their websites of criminal justice provisions they once championed as crime becomes a key midterm issue, Fox News reports.
A section on Pappas’ website that previously touted his support for the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act to “hold problem officers accountable” no longer mentions the legislation.
Kuster also touted the legislation in 2020 on a page about her “Opportunity and Justice for All Legislative Agenda,” but her website no longer links to that agenda and it doesn’t appear under the “priorities” section either.
NRCC Comment: “Either Chris Pappas and Annie Kuster used criminal justice as a political prop in 2020, or they’re running scared from their progressive anti-law enforcement records because they know their soft-on-crime agenda is at odds with Granite Staters’ values.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
